Hello

I am trying to calculate 60 minutes * $0.208333. It should equal about
$12.50 instead it totals to $12.00

The 4 cells are start time - end time results in a minute calculation *
a minute dollar amount.

The cells with times are formatted as times with the 60 minute cell
formatted with [h]:mm

Hi
if your time is stored in a Excel time format in cell A1 and B1 try the
following formulas
C1: Total time:
=B1-C1
and format this cell as time

D1: Amount:
=C1*24*60*0.208333

Bob,

I think your result cell is formatted as time.

Format it as General and multiply by 1440 as the time is stored as a
fraction of 1 day.

That did it. Thanks to you and Bob Phillips!
