Is there a way to log the time a person logs in and logs
out? i.e. user1 logged in at 12:04pm and logged out at
12:45pm.

Thanks

Apparently I'm not doing it it the right place because
nothing is showing up in the event log. Can you or
someone tell me exactly where to enable this.

Thanks

Computer Configuration - Windows Settings - Security Settings - Local
policies - Audit policy

If you must configure this on your Local Computer Security Policy or
your Domain Controller Security Policy depends on your domain setup
and the role of your TS in the domain (if it is a member server or a
DC). Check also if there is a domain wide policy that overrides your
local policy, if you don't want to enable auditing of secuirty events
througout your domain (which I recommend that you do).

Yes, probably. There's one other event type that has to do with
logons (don't know the exact name right now, it's in the same
list), that you migth want to enable.

Tip: right click each setting and read the Help to get a
description of which events are recorded in the EventLog when you
enable the setting.
