Arthur Pong

I'm using Excel 2000.

Scenario:
If I put in cell A1 56.7 seconds (represented by
00:56.7), and for the cells in the same Column A (starting
from A2), I want to be able to deduct 0.1 second from
00:56.7. Is this possible? How do I set the formula?

Thank you for your attention.

Hi

A2=A1-0.1/(24*60*60)
and copy down

Or another way:
Into A2 enter 00:56.6 (I myself can insert decimals of second insert only
using formulas - keyboard entry is interpreted as string by default - and
then converting them to values using PasteSpecial).
Select both A1 and A2, point on lower right corner of A1, so the cursor
changes to cross, and drag down.
