time difference between 2 different time values

Hi
Having trouble figuring this function out, so any help would be great
In cell 1, I have a time in and in cell 2 a time out. In cell 3, I need a total amout of time lasped. Data is enterd in an "7:05 Am" format. And the diffrence can be greater than 12 hours but less than 24

Hi Mike
try
=B1-A1+(B1<A1)
and format the resulting cell as time (this takes also care for times
spanning midnight)
