I have net nanny to control my children's access to the
internet. It is on a timer. However the children change
the time on the computer clock to get more time. Is there
a way to block the changing of time on the computer?

Bill

Yes. Don't let the children use the computer. That eliminates two problems
with one action.

You want to do technologically, what you can't do as a parent - get them to
respect your authority!

Be a parent, turn the computer off.

Sure, you can block the changing of time on the computer. If this is windows
xp, then you could have more then one profile for the children to log onto.
So this way they are not on the main account, as the main has computer
administrative rights. If they have a profile or user they log onto, make it
a limited account, this will give them restricted access to things such as
changing the time/date, etc. If they do not have another account, make one
and put it as a limited user account. See how this goes for ya....if ya
need a hand creating a new one or changing the setting to limited, just let
me know.
