time computer is running

Is there a small app that will track the total time my computer has
been on BETWEEN SHUTDOWNS? I know there is an internal clock that
tracks how long the computer has been on but that is reset when the
computer is turned off. I want the total run time of the computer
between shutdowns.

Windows XP tracks this. Press ctl-alt-del and surf the tabs for it.

Google for a little program called "uptime" for a quick and easy peek.

Isn't uptime the time _since_ last reboot? Maybe definition was
"enhanced" by Microsoft :-)

If you are using Win98,

Goto :-
StartMenu > Run > "msinfo32" type in.

Check the "UpTime".

Sorry for not being more clear. But I wanted total usage time "since
I bought the computer".
