I have a stand alone Win2000 workstation. Every day,
sometimes every few hours, the time readjusts it self.
The time will change to 3 hours ahead.

This just started last week. No modifications have been
made.

Any suggestions??

Thank you

Nita

Hi, Nita.

My guess is that (a) you have Win2K set to automatically adjust to the time
on an Internet time server, and that (b) you haven't changed your time zone
to match where you and your computer really are.

Right-click on the clock in the lower right corner and choose Adjust
Date/Time. (I'm using WinXP; you may see something slightly different in
Win2K.) First, set the Time Zone to match your geographic location. You
are presently set to -0700, which the Pacific Time Zone in the United
States - where Microsoft is located (in Redmond, WA).

Bad Mother Board? it happens to me all the time it's what I figure the problem
is. mine isn't as predictable as yours tho sometimes it keeps the right time for
quite awhile. Oh ya every now and again I might gain or lose a few months :)
