time and date update

whenever I start the machine, it required time and date every time. I
changed the re-chargeable cell but with no response please give me
solution

on a desktop you need to change the coin cell mounted to the mainboard (most times)
 
Dear what you need to do is to clean the cell battery port ( i mean
that little cabinet that holds the battery) Then insert the battery
again but now get a new one. Do not touch the flate surface. If you
try this and it did not work you have to get a new mortherboard from

For a start, the o/p hasn't given enough info about his PC for anyone to be
able to help properly.
