I have for a long time fought my Windows XP HE fully updated
on automatic clock syncronization.
Once upon a time I believe I can have seen W32Time occationally
successful (as reported in EVENTVWR), but now I only have
error reports.
As I have two other computers (running W98 and W98SE) on my
local network and for those I use D4Time which works without
any problem I tried to see if D4Time would run satisfactory on my
XP as well. It did, so I believe I can eliminate all questions about
firewall filtering etc? (Turning XP Firewall off made no difference!)
So what can be the reason for my problems with W32Time?
BTW: My local network is connected to Internet through a DLINK
NAT router.
Grateful for any comments or suggestions.
