Tilt-wheel mice

It was my understanding MS would have one wired version of mouse utilizing
the new tilt-wheel tech. So far I only see 2 wireless versions, and I
prefer wired.

Anyone know what's holding up the wired version?
 
It's not being released til sometime in the first half of 2004. (Apr-May-ish
depending on what reports you read into).
