TIF opening in IE

I was opening a .tif file, and Quicktime came upto open it which one can't
copy the necessary file form it.
I went into QT options and disassociated .tif files.

Now they open in my photo program, but I find it far easier if the file just
opens in the browser?
But I don't want to disassociate .tif files in windows, just IE?
thanks

IE does not natively support the TIF (TIFF) format.

TIFF viewer: http://www.alternatiff.com/ [freeware]
A browser plug-in for viewing TIFF image files
