I have created a signature and scanned it into my
computer in the tif format. How can I protect this
signature from being copied? And, is there a way I can
add it to my toolbar so it can be available whenever I
need it? Thank you.

You can't. If you can see it, you can copy it. People can steal whole
identities without a great deal of effort, signatures are child's play. What
is even more frightening is that many companies - even banks - will accept
scanned signatures, even on fax messages, as genuine.

You can use autotext as suggested by Jay, or you can use formatted
autocorrect, which doesn't even need a toolbar button to work. There are
times when both would be useful.
