*.tif files not being shown

Is there a way to get IE 6.0 to read *.tif file? We have
a corporate program online that uses *.tif diagrams.
Is there a patch or embedable program to fix this?
 
IE does not provide native support for TIFF images, you will need to
download an external plugin if you want to view TIFF files within IE. You
can use AlternaTIFF plugin to view TIFF images in IE.
