TIF file problem

Whenever IE sees a TIF file as a URL, it launches Quicktime.
TIF file suffixes are associated with Bravada not Quicktime. Sending
the file to a printer comes out blank. I want to read the TIF file in
another program such as Photoshop or Bravada. If I suspend
Quicktime the file simply does not open. Any suggestions?

If you want to ensure that files are opened by their extension association
and not by their content you must change a default security option

Disable: Open files based on content, not file extension

(in Security Settings dialog, Custom Level, Miscellaneous section)

Tip: doubleclick on the security zone icon in the Status bar,
click Custom Level, press M, press O, press D, space Space.

Note: this setting may require an IE restart before taking effect.

Good luck
