I cannot change the TIF up from 0, and this is the erroor message I get:

"Please select a value between 1 and 0 for how much disk space temporary
Internet files may use"

I repair IE with this command: rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE6Maintenance
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Setup\SETUP.EXE" /g "C:\WINDOWS\IE
Uninstall Log.Txt", it does the job for a short time and then the problem is
back just like before!!!

Hi,
Assuming Windows XP- if running another OS, let me know.

This problem is usually caused by a corrupted cache (TIF.) You should delete
the TIF folder. A new one will be created on restart.

Login as another user with administrator privileges, or from the machine's
default administrator
account (startup in safe mode.) Make sure that you can see hidden and system
files (Folder Options> View) Then delete the affected TIF folder from
Windows Explorer. It will be at [C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local
Settings\Temporary Internet Files] Restart.

Hope this helps,

OK. I just saw the earlier (by one day) thread.
With Win 2k you should also be able to delete the Temporary Internet Files
*folder* for the affected user account from an administrator login.
