The XValues for my xlCategory Axis are just the natural numbers startin
at 1. i.e. 1, 2, 3, ......, 52, 53. (They represent weeks in a year)

Is it possible to show the Labels for values 1, 5, 10, 15, ...
i.e. always display one, then every multiple of 5?

The chart is a Line (user modified) Line Char

In your X data range, skip the numbers that you don't want to appear,
then make sure the axis is scaled to show every 1 label.

Thanks John: works like a charm. I used the CategoryNames property o
the xlCategory Axis to supply the values as I have several Series wit
the same XValues. I vbNulled every label that I did not want t
display. Although I have to admit that the difference betwee
Series.XValues and Axes.CategoryNames is not too clear to me
especially in the case where you have only one series (which is not m
case)

Actually, I never noticed there was a CategoryNames property. I've
always used the XValues of the first series, and it works as expected.
