Ticking sound at clip transition

I'm using mm2 to edit DV from my PC101. My finished
video sounds fine on my computer. When I save the video
back to DV tape on my camera I get a single tick noise at
each clip transition.

Anyone know what's causing the tick?

wish i knew mate. i'm also getting it but unlike you, i
can hear it in MM2 -- a single 'tick' at *some*
transitions points and at the end of *most* fade outs.
very annoying.
 
Papajohn,

I used the advice from your website regarding publishing
to 2.1mbps WMV first. It worked...I now have a clean
final on my DV camera. Thanks!

Same here, I can hear them only on the DVD version. PapaJohn, can you
please be more specific in your response. I could not find anything on
your site.

Hi Daniel,

I wish I could be more specific, but there are many factors that could be
the cause of audio issues, and... although there are some successes and
work-arounds coming out of the postings, there are some who still can't
resolve them. All I can do is collect the info about audio issues and
resolutions as they are reported and put it on the website. You just have to
use any of the info that might help... and depending on your problem,
nothing yet listed will help.
