Remembered this, just as we were about to get into bed. But my body clock is still running on BST, so woke very early anyway.

I rose at 07:30 then some minutes later slurping coffee and listening to Radio Six heard the radio announcer mention the time. Damn, I'm an early bird, it wasn't 07:30 was it?

I've been here nine years now and when I first moved in attempted to set the central heating clock/timer.

I haven't touched it since. And I thought I was half way clever.

my cooker doesn't have a clock

... but the microwave does, so I got this it works great.

Never did figure out how to change the mother in law's microwave clock. We always just end up killing the power and turning it back on to enter the setup menu
