Hi Guys

Just started using "Thunderbird" and kinda like the "OE" feel of it, but
I have a question regarding newsgroup messages.

Is it possible to configure Thunderbird to display all the messages from
a thread grouped together (as threads like in "OE").

I've looked through various settings and can't seem to find it. :(

Anyone???

TIA!

Well, I sort of found out how to view messages in "Thread" view.

But ideally, I would like keep all related messages together AND be able
to sort the threads by date (like you can in "OE").

You know what I mean?

Ta again!

View > Sot by and select:

* Date
* Descending
* Threaded

That'll be right, won't it?
Not sure - I just click on the balloon icon in the column heading (next
to the 'flag' and before 'attachment' and 'subject'.
That sorts the messages by thread to me.
Repeatedly clicking it swaps between ascending and descending.

You'll find it a lot easier if you just follow what Fatman says. It's
very straightforward, no problems. Can't understand why you seem to be
having difficulty with this. The View button is on the main toolbar at
the top of the main Thunderbird screen: File Edit View....

Yours truly,
Ed
