Thunderbird Question

How do you get Thunderbird to work. I connected to news.grc.com, set up an
'account' but 'get next 500 news messages' is greyed out. Confused to say
the least. ;)
 
oops using version 0.1 of T-bird on Win 2000, also have a firewall, but that
hasn't affected OE.

Also meant to say I have set up an account for news.grc.com.

You don't mention it but I assume you've downloaded a newsgroup list.

According to a message on grc.news, grc was down for several hours on 28/9
- that may have affected you. Try now.
