Hi all,

I've been a Tbird fan for a while but I'm having a problem with it on my
laptop at work - Dell 8000 running windows ME.

The program itself seems a bit slow to load but my inbox takes ages to
load up.

I've reinstalled it a few times but to no avail, am I overlooking
something simple here?

Regards

B

I have a 3 gig machine and TBird is a slow loader there. I noticed the
number of add ons, extensions etc makes a difference.

The most common reason for a really slow Inbox is that it needs to be
compacted. File -> Compact Folders. If that doesn't do it, close
Thunderbird and delete the file Inbox.msf (do not delete Inbox) and
restart. Then File -> Compact Folders.

Many thanks Gord, I'll give that a go later.
