Has anyone worked out a way of using multiple signatures with T'bid?
I know I can create different profiles but what I want is something
like the OE (gasp) signature list.

I use Moztweak <http://mozillapl.mozdev.org/> with Mozilla, not
Thunderbird, and it does that and a lot more.

Can't say whether it would work with current Thunderbird though.

Well this is exciting. MozTweak-1.2.2a, does work with TBird .5 anyway.
(The only version I have handy here.) At least the signatures part of it
does.

That sounds like it but how do I get an .exe copy of MozTweak and the
next question is , how do I install it ;-)

OK, here you go:

What you want is not a .exe but the .xpi to install in tbird.

Main link: <http://mozillapl.mozdev.org/>
Direct link:
<http://osdn.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/mozillapl/Moztweak-1.2.2a.xpi>

(watch for wrap)

It can be tricky to get since MozFox will try to install it rather than
download. I will zip it up and post it to alt.binaries.freeware for
anyone who might be interested.

Once you get and unzip it, go to Tools/Options/Extensions and Install
New Extension that would be the file "Moztweak-1.2.2a.xpi".

Once installed, the only evidence you'll see of is while composing a msg
where you'll see a toolbar below the subject line with signature
settings info. You can explore it from there. It is pretty complete with
possible multiple sets and sigs and macros.

This extension has many features and does lots of things in the suite.
The signatures component seems to work fine in Thunderbird .5 and has
caused no problems that I've seen. I haven't tested it otherwise. I
haven't tried accessing its other functions in tbird.

Great! but.........my ISP does not have alt.binaries.freeware in the
Usenet feed. Any chance of emailing me the zip?

TIA
