Thumbs.db.tmp

Everytime I modify my pictures in my web folder and try to publish to my web
server I get the error "The server extensions were unable to access the
file ".thumbs.db.tmp. Please check the file permissions." I have used both
frontpage 2002 and 2003 and get the same error.
I can not find the file on my web server. I have also tried the following:
1. Uninstalled and reinstalled the frontpage extentions.
2. Republished the entire site. This works until I change pictures in my
web folder and try to publish again and then get the same error.
Any ideas and has anyone else had similar problems? My web server is
Windows XP with IIS 5.

Do not open the folder holding your web outside of FP in Windows Explorer.
Instead modify your images, then re-import them into your web from a
original location which is outside of your web folder

That is what I have been doing but the same error appears. I end up not
allowing thumbs.db to be published.

The thumbs.db should never be published, and is only create because you open
the local folder holding your web content via Windows Explorer or My
Computer, to avoid this you should only open the folders with your web
content via FP.
