Thumbnails not working

I am running Windows 2000 Pro and usually use the thumbnail view for my
picture folders. Suddenly, it doesn't
work any more. I recently downloaded Acrobat 7.0 Reader. I can't think of
anything else that I might have changed. Does anyone have any ideas?

I tried this fix as I was having the same problem and it still does not work.
