Thumbnails not showing up in Windows 98

I have a client who uses Window 98, and has PowerPoint
2002 loaded on the 98SE platform. When using PPT, they
can not see the thumbnails. I loaded PPT 2002 on my
Windows 2000 and XP platforms and the thumbnails are
available. Does anyone have fix or workaround for this,
other than upgrading the OS?

Which thumbnails are you referring to, SK? The ones in the pane on the
left, the ones in slide sorter view, or the ones when you go to
Insert/Picture/From File?
