hi everyone, recently whenever i go into my picture files the thumbnails of
the pictures do not show up which is a pain since they're not labeled so
finding a pic means playing the guessing game...the only thing i can think of
is that lately i downloaded webshots as well as installed kodak's easy share
for my digital camera, is it possible one of these messed this up, and if so
how can i fix it? thanx for the help!

Do your image files still open in Windows
Picture and Fax Viewer?

If you do not see thumbs...what do you see?

What happens if you open the folder and go to...
View / Thumbnails?

Not sure what you mean.
Obviously you see photo files in the folder, but not in thumbnail view,
perhaps just the listing of file names? Have you tried changing the view to
thumbnails. Two ways of doing this, one is the icon Views. Click on it and
click on thumbnails. The other is the tab View on the top bar. Click on it
and click on thumbnails.
If this does not work, maybe the installed software interfered with XP in
some ways for display of image files. Then do the following:
Click on Start, click on Run and type the following in the opening textbox:
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
and press the Enter key.
Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI...
This will take a second to run and you should get a success message. Then
try the thumbnail view.
