I am looking for a small program that shows thumbnails of images in a
directory, and hopefully the ability to click on it for a larger
picture. I don't need to be able to edit the images as I have
Photoshop. I used to use Thumbs Plus however it tended to save
previews and take forever to load after a while. Recommendations?

Irfanview handles this task very well -- http://www.irfanview.com/

I've tried them all several times, and I keep going back to Firegraphic.
It's a little big at over 3MB, but it also does a great job at printing
multiple pictures on a single page, and has simple editing.

What I like most is the viewer. It behaves just like ACDSee Classic. One
click, toggle through the pics with the space bar, tap the ESC key once and
you're out. Great thumbnail and contact sheet features too.

Look again. It's now 6.15 MB.

I'm sure you're right, but all I use is the EXE, which is over 3MB. Works
great with just the EXE. All I see missing is the toolbar icons, which are
covered in the text menus.
