I need to be able to print thumbnails. Although a bit larger than those that show on the screen in "thumbnail view."

Can this be done

When I "send to Word" the thumbnails don't transfer

I have tried making PDFs, but they are too small too read.

Thank you for a quick answer. I (like everyone else) am under a deadline. Tomorrow. :-

What options are you choosing when sending to Word, and what is actually
showing up?

If you mean 'Slide Sorter' view a quick dirty way is to set the zoom to 100%
and alt +PrintScrn to copy the screen to the clipboard and paste into Word.
You then crop with the picture tool in word to just leave the slides. It's
dirty but I get 24 to a page that way and they are just about readable.
If you only want 6 to a page then just print to a PDF printer driver using
the Print, Print What, Handouts, 6 to a page or as many as 9 if you're using
2003.

Good Luck

Thanks folks

I've tried all that. But in PDF the slides are too small.

I have opted to export the text of the files. It's not as elegant looking, but it works.

This seems to be a flaw in PP. If you can bring up a notes page with a slide, why can't you print the darn thing

Why can't one print a slide-sorter view that is readably.

%$#&*!!

I HATE all these workarounds!

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for

Hello,

PowerPoint doesn't provide the functionality that you are looking for
(printing slide thumbnails or slide sorter view at current zoom %).

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that it's important that
PowerPoint provide this kind of functionality, don't forget to send your
feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
