I am looking for a freeware package that will let me create thumbnails and
create index of those
thumbnail files which it created. Does anyone know of such a package?

And
MovieSnapshot
With MovieSnapshot you can extract and save single movie frames
(all movie formats supported by the Windows MediaPlayer)
as JPEG files. MovieSnapshot uses Microsofts new DirectShow
interface and it is Windows2000 and WindowsXP compatible.
