Thumbnail icons

I now see that this must be an IrfanView query, not WinXP, and I've
raised it elsewhere.

For anyone interested (or who knows the answer!), my JPGs are
associated with IrfanView. Looking at them in a Windows folder, my
earlier post showed what they looked like in Thumbnail view. Here's a
magnified screen shot in List view:
