Thumb Drives Not seen in My Computer

Maybe this is more of a Windows OS question, will try there also..

My thumb drive dings when plugged in, but it doesn't show in My Computer??

Did it ever show up there ? It needs to be formatted before it shows up there.

You may have scrambled it by not safely removing it.

Try formatting it again if you dont care about the data on it.

Should be able to see it in Disk Management if you're running XP.
