Thumb Drive Corruption - Is there a fix?

Hello. I have a SanDisk Cruzer Mini 128 MB model that has become corrupted,
or apparently so. It was plugged into a computer and opened, and contents
were missing since the last use. However, properties reports about half of
the 128 MB is allocated for stored files, about 80. Norton Systemworks Disk
Doctor does not identify any problems nor does the XP properties tab tools
error checking.

What utilities exist that I might try to recover the files?

Thanks,

Mike

I'm running into a similar problem with my new SanDisk CM 256MB model. Are
the files of the *.chk type created by Scandisk? I'm wondering if there are
problems with this drive. I don't think that you can recover the files. I
would try clearing the entire drive and starting over again. Don't put
anything of value on the drive until you know that the drive is not bad.
