Got a high school reunion coming up.

10 tables.

The plan is to buy 10 thoroaway cameras and let each table take pix, then get
them developed and scan the film into a followup CD/booklet.

Current plan is to buy a name brand like Kodak and try to get Ektachrome - both
because it seems to scan well and because negs can more easily be eyeballed -
and have it processed "Develop Only".

Anybody have any thoughts on this?

I've not seen disposables with slide film in them, not sure they market
any?
No wonder, since exposures would be all over the place.

Yep. I don't know of any disposable camera maker that uses slide film.
They all, AFAIK, use neg.

Not to say that usage of slide film in such cameras would be nonsense,
thare would be a lots of burnt-out or too thick slides.
Negativ films are less sensitive in exposure errors, at least two stops
up and down...

So Pete would have much better scans from color negatives, or at least
he would have some scans at all.

Thanks Mac, Roberto, Hecate - that was the kind of info I was trolling
for.

Upon reflection, they also probably offer a "CD" option....and maybe a
"CD, but no prints" option....

Re: "... "CD" option ..."

Check that *before* you buy the disposables ... you might
find one brand/model that comes with that included as part
of the original price.
