I'm starting to think this program isn't worth the
trouble. I know it's about time to get the 'puter wiped
clean and start again, but still - I thought Windows
would offer a decent antispyware to add to my arsenal.
Boy, was I stupid or what?! THREE HOURS and the scan
still isn't done? It's up to almost 6000 detected items.
Is my system about to implode? Should I abort the scan?
Should I expect to wake up to a non-functioning laptop?

Yeah, I need your help - badly!

Now you should not abort the scan. You are apparently quite infected and
you need to let Anti-Spyware run to its conclusion and deletes files, but
only delete what you're sure of;quarantine the rest. Then you should run it
again in Safe Mode.

Hi

Download CCleaner and remove all temporarily junk.
www.ccleaner.com

Then scan ! Full scans in normal and safe mode.

Also check with a online scanner for both virus and spyware.

Made a good backup lately? If your machine has 6000 hits, you've got
problems that you shouldn't be blaming MWAS for.

It should have "imploded" long ago and yes you are. :)
