Hello,
I signed up for 2Access.net in the fall of 2001. Then I
moved to another state shortly after. I have signed up
for a different provider but whenever I hit the e for
internet explorer, Access Visions Corporation comes up at
the top of my screen instead of my current provider. As
long as it still worked, I didn't mind, but recently
whenever my computer uses Access Visions Corporation (and
I don't know why it chooses this instead of my current
provider sometimes) it tries to do a pop-up called
<http://premium-offers.com/popups/po>..., then the
following error message comes up. Microsoft Internet
Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We
are sorry for the inconvenience. If you were in the middle
of something, the information you were working on might be
lost. Restart Microsoft Internet Explorer Please tell
Microsoft about this problem. We have created an error
report that you can send to help us improve Microsoft
Internet Explorer. We will treat this report as
confidential and anonymous. Send Error Report (or) Don't
Send
I can check the Restart Microsoft Internet Explorer box,
but it just does the same thing and sends the same error
if I do. I have clicked the Send Error Report many many
times.
Error signature
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer 6.0.2800.1106 ModName:
oleaut32.dll
ModVer: 2.40.4515.0 Offset 00026a46
This problem happens even if I am using my current
provider and for example: If I click the Toolbox option
and click Check For Updates, instead of using my current
provider, it uses Access Visions Corporation. I have
searched my computer for *Access Visions* to see if it was
typed somewhere and I could change it, but my search comes
up with nothing containing that. How can I make my
computer either stop using Access Visions or make the
error stop if it does use Access Visions?
Once or twice I have received the following error message
also:
HTTP 500 Internal server error - Access Visions Corporation
Another problem happens whenever I click the X to get out
of My Documents or any document within My Documents. The
error message is as follows:
Explorer has caused an error in HBHOSTIE.DLL.
Close
Explorer will now close.
If you continue to experience problems,
try restarting your computer.
I really hope someone out there can help. Thank You for
your time. You can email me at latiendalinda(delete this)
