recently I hard problems with my computer and i fixed the problem but my hard drive partitioned itself, how do get rid of the extra hard drives that i do not need

Hard drives don't partition themselves, my friend, but we'll leave that
aside.

Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Disk Management. You can delete
the additional partitions there. Anything stored in those partitions will be
irretrievably lost.

And then you will have unallocated space. You can partition that space (create another drive) but you can not add it to the system drive using disk managment tools.

You will need a 3rd party partitioning tool to add the unallocated space to your system drive. I use PartitionExpert from www.acronis.com.
