Latest issue of PCWorld is recommending using PC Tools "ThreatFire". Is
that a could idea? Any thoughts?

I dettagli d
'RF Online Currency

As the link above indicates ThreatFire is more behavioral based than
the signature based security programs, so it's really up to you to
determine if it fits into your current security scheme for some backup
real-time protection. However, you should always be aware of potential
conflicts with other installed applications, though it's less likely
than having two signature based A-Vs installed.

You could try running a 'Spycar'
(http://www.spycar.org/Welcome to Spycar.html) behavioral test, then
installing ThreatFire, and again testing with Spycar to see if your
behavioral detections improve. Generally, I would not increase the
Protection Level of ThreatFire beyond the default of 3 due to false
positive alerts. Hope that helps.

Thank you very much. That is quite helpful.
