I am getting more and more blank pop up screens in IE. I
am using Norton and have it set to supposedly block such.
They are generally blank/empty boxes.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
Doug

Download and install the popup stopper from Panicware. They have a free
version. There are other popup stoppers available as well. Use Google to
search for them.

The free ad-blocker from Panicware is a nice, small program that
prevents most pop-ups. Only trouble is that it also blocks many pop-up
windows I DO want to see. Of course, you can allow a pop-up by holding down
the CTRL, Shift or ALT keys while clicking a link, but doing so repeatedly
can be tedious. The Google toolbar does a much better job differentiating
between annoying pop-up ads and legitimate pop-up windows. I'm curious to
see how well IE 6 SP2 does at handling pop-up ads.

That's not a problem. Just click on the little hand icon, and it is
disabled. I'm sure other popup stoppers have similar disabling features. Far
better to have a popup stopper than not have one.
