Spent all day there today, left at 8 came back at half 10. Long day.

It was a bit drizzly so the queues were immensly small. Longest wait was only 20 mins

Went on everything. Amazing.

If you like rollercoasters, you need to go there, especially for the latest one Stealth - You are fired to 80mph in 2 seconds, go vertically up 200 feet and then drop vertically down again.

Crazy stuff.

Wicked, i aint been to TP for a while. Last time i wnt they were building it.... :(

Last time i went it rained for a bit, we went on Colossus (sp?) in the rain, it was fun but the rain hurns when you goin fast!
We went on a 'school day' so the queues were small. Did Rush about 20 times! Slammers is awesome too! Man i realy wanna go now. Cheers PG! :p

Just looked on the website, The Fish is back!? They pulled that sown to make way for Stealth didn't they. Stealth looks fantastic!

Rollercoasters and fun parks are absoloutly heavenly . Best I'm going to see this year will be Blackpool . :D

I went there about a month ago with my 18 year old twin daughters.

I love it, the whole thing

(except, perhaps, the food prices)

I went on everything except Stealth.

Mostly because Stealth had broken down most of the day  And it had a two hour queue

Other than that, Nemesis and all the roller coaster rides, swing rides, all the rides - were great :)

Been taking my kids there and to Chessington since about 1993 - I just love them places :)

Never been to Thorpe Park as it's a bit far away, I'm guessing it's very similar to Alton Towers? I absolutely love it there :D I really want to go now that you've talked about it!

AT's is bigger than TP, but the rides are similar.

Thats another place we usually go once a year.

Which would you prefer if you had to pick one?

Yeah I went about a year ago and they were building Stealth. Crazy stuff.

AT and TP have Nemesis/ Nemesis Inferno respectively. Never been AT so I don't know what the difference is :(

Personally, I dont think theres a great deal in it. Alton Towers has more rides, and Oblivion! (my all time favorite) But as i live less than an hours drive from TP, that is a big plus point.

Either or i reckon Ian. Both good. :thumb:

I'm currently trying to organise a coach trip for a two day visit to Alton Towers at my local pub, but not really having much luck.

Boring old gits, and they're mostly younger than me, hehe

Guess I'll just have to take my daughters up there then :D

Been to AT but years ago, but drive past TP sometimes on the way to work.
Must go to TP sometime with my friend & his two girls.:thumb:
