Thanks for posting links for an interesting batch
of freeware that is of a bit of a different flavor
than I usually see here ....

I tried the Thoroughbred-Handicapper-Pro-Light,
but found it a bit TOO Lite with many functions disabled
that are available in the $90 PayWare version ....

How about

OddsCalc is a hedge and dutch betting program, which will help you back
multiple horses in any race for profit. Professional gamblers will uses
this method of betting to place "cover bets". We all know that the
"Favorite Horse" does not always win and we all have placed bets on a
certain winner, to find that the long shot or the danger horse in the
