I have windowsMe and everything was working fine, untill
I used windows update and then the compaq laptop started
to have all kinds of problems. for example locking up,
ie not working, office not functioning, etc.
I had to use restore to get the pc back to original
condition, but still having problems. first I was going
to do restores one at a time (because there were about 6
restore points from the windows update) but that would be
time consuming so, I did the top restore and the last
resotre. Do I need to preform the inbetween restores to
get the pc back to the pre-windows update? Also, I have
a new error see subject for the error message.
Any ideas or insight is greatly appreicated.
