FYI: You should set the links to the PDFs to open in a new window.

How do I do that? I've looked through my FrontPage 2003 book, and in help
and can't find anything that tells you how to open links in a new window.

Thanks . . .

Right click the link, select hyperlink properties, click the Target Frame button and select New
Window from the dropdown and then click apply.

Thanks for the help. I think I have it fixed. Would you check my website
to see, please?

Funny thing is, some people emailed me and said they could open the pages to
start with.

Which brings up a question. I do three different newsletters which are
emailed as a PDF attachment. Some people can open them, some can't.
Sometimes one person will be able to open it one month and not the next.
Then theyemail me asking why they can't open it. Any ideas about that?

You need to find out from those individuals, which OS they are running, browser, and Adobe Acrobat
version. Most PDF issue can be solved by re-install the Adobe Reader.

Thanks, Thomas, I never know what questions to ask.

After asking those questions and getting answers - then there's the question
(which I'm sure they'll ask) - what are the ramifications of different OSs
and browsers. A lot of these questions, I don't even know who to ask. I
know FrontPage isn't exactly the place, but I don't know where else to ask.

Why does the version of Adobe Reader make a difference? I don't use Adobe
to convert files to PDF, so I'm confused about that, too.

Older version of Adobe Reader (and can be OS dependent) can not read some PDF files created based on
newer Acrobat features, etc.

Knowing the OS, browser and Adobe Version can help to learn where the problem is mostly happening.
