This Version Expires Juy 2005?

In the about section of Antispyware, it states this
version expires on July 31, 2005. Is this because the
beta will expire, or does MS then require you to purchase
the new version? In other words, will the ASW remain to
be a free product issued by MS?
 
The beta expires.

Microsoft has stated that the capabilities in this program will be available
without additional cost for licensed Windows users.
 
Yeah, you don't want to be running beta 1 as for detecting spyware forever,
trust us. ;-)
