I have an IBM r50p that was working perfectly until I
installed this. Now it's slow, windows explorer won't
load, my mozilla thunderbird program loads automatically
and restarts itself whenever I try to close it, the
desktop won't refresh, and probably a few other things I
haven't discovered yet.

Can anyone help with this?

I recommend you uninstall it and use adware se or spybot
search and destroy which found more spyware then this new
piece of junk from microsoft. Then use your mozilla firefox
and stay away from IE. They should have tried a better
spyware removal software like Adaware Se which it gives
away for free. Save yourself the trouble. Either uninstall
it or try a system restore. Good luck , Eric

.

I can't even uninstall it properly. Restore points don't
work either. It keeps saying that it can't complete the
restore point becaues "nothing has changed" no matter how
far back I go. I still can't get windows explorer up, and
now media player can't play b/c it's "missing codecs".

I'm running out of options!

Are you running windows xp? You should go into add or
remove programs and try to uninstall it. If not try
starting your machine in safe mode(usually F8)before the
operating system loads and choose safe mode then try to
uninstall or do a system restore. Next time you ever try a
beta of a new program...always set a restore point just in
case. Good luck, Eric

You're a dick.

I fixed it myself.

I just needed to have M$ Outlook set as the default email
application and everything came back to normal.

The manual contained no useful information. Of course I
read that first before posting here.
