I get an e-mail from Aria that proclaims 'Hitachi Deskstar 1Tb Hard Disk for £29.99'

I usually block their spam with mailwasher but I thought that seemed a reasonable offer so let this one through.

But, have a look at this:

Final price is £45.53 which is a 50% loading of the price the e-mail quoted.

Eight quid to send a hard disk? I think not Aria, you can go boil your bum

Amazon seem to be one of the cheapest when it comes to drives now, all of these for around £40 delivered . Actually, just had a look at Scan and they are pretty cheap too (if you can get a free delivery offer).

I'd probably get a better deal at Scan though cos I get free shipping there.

What I really need is a 2Tb HDD to go into my media machine as more movies have been added and as I'm converting all audio to FLAC atm where previously they were mp3, FLAC files take up more room.

But a 1Tb HDD would be a temporary solution, used as external storage and at that price I thought I'd have me some.
