Can someone please tell me how to change settings? Everytime I change cookie

I have that sometimes too, but just don't use this newsgroup for a few days,
and than you'll see that it works normally again.

My guess is that you are using the web interface to newsgroups
via the Support portal.
Try a better portal. E.g. anything else from those listed here
which still includes the newsgroup you are interested in:
