This page contains both secure and nonsecure items?

You may have to make two changes to your settings.

Tools-Internet Options-Advanced
Uncheck "Warn if changing between secure and not secure mode"

Tools-Internet Options-Security
Highlight Trusted Sites and click Custom Level
Go down to Miscellaneous
Set "Display mixed content" to Enable.
The default is Prompt.

Even after both of these settings are set the way it is recommended here, I still get the warning message using IE 7. It appears that IE 7 totally ignores the "Display Mixed Content" setting and shows the message anyway.

In my case I have a SSL web page (https) that displays image files from the local client hard drive, so the page is displaying mixed content and I simply want to disable this message in the browser. How do I do this in IE 7?
