This page cannot be displayed

Hi
Can anybody help please.
Recently upgraded to O/S Me and then last week to
Internet Explorer 6 version. Since upgrading to IE6 I
have had mega problems with trying to surf. I get the
message This page cannot be displayed wherever I go. I
can however receive emails just fine. For information I
have Norton 2003 and Norton firewall and the Norton extra
security package thingy. I have been in touch with my
ISP and they took me through deleting Temp files and
cookies etc, and reset my browser settings. This worked
for the next time I went in after I reooted, but not
since that one time. I went back to my ISP (Freeserve)
and they suggested I unistal my IE v 6 and go back to
5.5 I did, but no change.
I am pulling my hair out as I need the net urgently. I
have tried disabling the Norton, (both Firewall and Anti-
virus) but still no luck. Any suggestions anybody.

Try running the Winsock repair tools on the very bottom
of this page:
http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

This usually clears the problem if ALL the sites you visit have this
problem.
