After countless hours on thrying to find the problem. I
have come to the end of my rope. After invoking IE, this
message appears and at the bottom of the page it
reads "cannot find server or DNS Error" I have applied
the latest updates from MS Windows Update to no avail. I
have even resorted to updating BIOS on the workstation.

Help would be appreciated

Thanks

Mike

As much as I would like to help you, you don't give enough details about the
problem your having.
There can be many causes for no DNS resolution but to start we need to know
about your DNS server, connection, and/or network.

Please provide as much pertinent detail as possible. As for troubleshooting this, start with name resolution. NSLOOKUP is a great utility that you can use to
test DNS name resolution.

Thank you,
Mike Johnston

I too am having a similar problem. I can ping any web
site, everything looks good in the configuration of the
machine, but the browser doesn't work. Has anyone come up
with a reason for this?

Thanks!
