Please note that OffByOne only supports HTML3.2, and not
the newer 4.0x or CSS, etc. Does anyone know if it supports
frames?

Holy shit.
I always wondered where the name came from. Now it get it -- it's
off by one entire HTML version.
For the recored, 4.0 was released on December 18, 1997 -- that'll be
six years ago in a month and a half.
Seems to support frames - there is a frames off/on function. You obviously haven't used Lynx then?

Biggest problem to me is it has no javascript implementation. Ok so no popup
rubbish, but no web mail services either ...
</snip>Without 4.x, it won't even do CSS, will it?

it would appear that it is actually a vehicle to promote their

way be considered an endorsement of said products)...
The Off By One Web Browser may be the world's smallest and fastest web
browser with full HTML 3.2 support. It is a completely self-contained,
stand-alone 1.1MB application with no dependencies on any other
browser or browser component. For Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME,
Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
The Off By One Web Browser was created to demonstrate the speed and
light footprint of the Webster Pro family of Web Browser Controls from
Home Page Software.
Webster Pro Controls are available as either ActiveX objects or pure
DLL- based Custom Controls. They enable you to easily integrate an
embedded Web Browser window, similar to that of the Off By One
browser, directly into your MS-Windows application, and with no
dependencies on any other browser.
Webster Pro Controls can be integrated into applications written in
VB, VC++ or any other Windows language or development environment.
it doesn't do Java, it doesn't do CSS, and it doesn't seem to like
some redirects (but you'd be surprised at how few sites it has any
real problems with).
